  Pilot Ladder are manufactured using manila ropes with diameters of not less than 20mm and strength of no less than 24kn. It has 04 rubber steps at the bottom and non-skid wooden steps and spreaders secured by Aluminium ferrules crimped mechanically. The gap between steps will be 300mm +/- 20mm. Rope ends are thimble eyes secured with Aluminium ferrules for deck connection. Permanent height markings are provided at every 1m in the form of coloured chokes or stickers. Name plate mentioning details such as Manufacturer, Serial No., DOM, Length etc are affixed to the ladder step. The ladder is accompanied with Manufacturer Conformity certificates and/or IACS class SOLAS/MED type approval certificates.
